One of the main stumbling blocks accounting firms face is in clearly outlining what they will do for the client and how much it will cost – and delivering on time, within budget. This is a critical process when considering additional services development. This session discusses the importance of setting a clear scope of work and managing client expectations through appropriate and timely communication. We will talk about the challenges of delivering a job within budget and on time. We’ll also discuss how to ensure that clients see value for service and are prepared to pay appropriately for special advice and matters.
Also scheduled for December: Webinar on "Keys to Developing A Strong Leadership Team" – Wed 14th Dec 2011 – 12.30pm – 1.30pm AEDT
The leadership team is arguably the most important group in any firm. They have the most overt power. Their decisions have implications for everyone else in the firm as well as for the future of the firm itself. Usually, people are ‘elected’ to the leadership team on the basis of equity, seniority or functional responsibility, without due consideration to the specific skills they bring to the team. In this webinar, we will review what these groups have to do and what they need to be effective. Specific roadblocks to successful operations of leadership teams will be identified. We will discuss the steps you can take to create a more effective leadership team. This webinar will feature our regular guest speaker Tao de Haas. Click on the topic above to register.
